Welcome to MAP South Hockey located in Mendota Heights, MN.  

MAP South Hockey was founded in 2007 to provide athletes with the healthiest and most versatile support system possible to boost their individual development. Families join our program from all over the State of Hockey (and out of state, as well) to compete with and against other talented and like-minded athletes. Our culture is crucially cultivated by challenging and mentoring each athlete by the most knowledgeable and passionate staff in the country.

The MAP South Hockey development model is fully aligned and supportive of MN Hockey and community based teams.  MAP South Hockey’s commitment to athletes and parents is to Develop High Character Athletes from peewees to professional NHL players, while providing the best long-term development through on-ice experiences, off-ice workout classes and personal mentorship.

Benefits of the MAP South Hockey Support System (depending on tier/age):

• Training season is 8 months in length - mid-March to mid-November
• Elite coaching, training & teaching from our professional staff
• Relationship-based support, individual feedback and advancement mentorship
• On-ice sessions and Strength & Conditioning classes 5 days per week (3 days per week for 13s/14s tiers in spring & fall; 4 days per week for 15s tier in spring & fall)
• Access to MAP South Hockey Training Center for off-ice skills development
• Competitive Game Days every week
• MAP South Academy seminars for leadership, mental performance & advancement support
• Player meeting opportunities & regular performance feedback

Additional benefits for MAP South Hockey Athletes who are pursuing junior, college & professional hockey:

• Family support and feedback from our staff throughout the winter season
• Player/Family Meetings to provide direction about different junior hockey levels and destinations
• Resources to contact applicable junior/college/pro teams and coaching staffs
